At Conn, communication is a vital part of the students' day. Whether it be in language arts or math, students are expected to practice effective and efficient speaking and listening skills. Modules are part of the day that usually bring about a natural focus on communication where students need to present their information, product, or presentation to the class.

Communication, at Conn, also involves the instruction of conversational spanish. In grades 1-2, students are engaged in learning spanish for 25 minutes, 2 days a week. In grades 3-5, the students recieve Conversational Spanish instruction for 45 minutes, 2 times a week.
